INSTALLING THE HOB
Fitting
•
Cut an opening in the worktop of the dimensions shown in
mm on the drawing.
•
It is advisable to treat the opening with a water-repellent
substance before fitting the hob.
•
To make cutting out the worktop easier, a suitable template
can be obtained from After-Sales Service
(code number 4819 395 88001).
The minimum distance between the bottom of the ceramic
hob and the top of an underlying unit or dividing shelf made
of wood must be 90 mm.
Electrical connection
To be carried out before connecting to the power supply.
Make sure that the appliance is installed and connected to the electricity supply by a qualified
technician in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions, and in compliance with statutory and
local regulations.
Check that the voltage supply and the diameter of the appliance cable correspond to those specified
on the appliance's rating plate.
Protection against electric shock from the appliance is a legal requirement.
Before connecting up the appliance check that the shock-hazard protection is effective.
The manufacturer declines all liability for injury to persons or damage to property resulting from
failure to observe the above procedures.
For the electrical connection use a HO5RR-F type cable as indicated in the table below:
