INSTALLATION

To fit the cooking hob into a worktop, an

opening must be made as indicated in the

diagram. Note that:

-

there must be a space of at least 30 mm between

the underside of the cooking hob and the upper

part of any appliance or shelf under the worktop.

-

allow at least 50 mm between the sides of the

cooking hob and the side walls of adjacent column

units etc..

-

the distance to the wall behind t he cooking hob

must be at least 50 mm.

-

wall cupboards or an extraction hood, if present,

must be at least 650 mm above the hob.

This appliance is type X with reference to

protection against overheating of the

surrounding surfaces.

The appliance is designed for fitting into a heat-

resistant kitchen unit.

Side walls of the kitchen unit into which the hob

is fitted must not project above the worktop and

must withstand temperatures of 75

o

C a bove

ambient temperature.
