w ate r run to make sure that the water is clea r. This pre caution i s need ed to avoi d th e

r isk of the w ater in let to be bl ocked an d d amage the a ppliance.

Th e w ater s upply t o the applianc e c an a lso b e connec ted to th e ho use hold hot water

line (su ch a s, c entral sy stem , he atin g sy stem ),as lon g as it does not e xce ed a

temper ature of 60 C . In this case , th e wa sh c yc le time w ill be s hortene d b y abo ut 15

minutes and the wash efficiency slightly reduced.

Th e co nnection mu st be ma de to the hot water l ine f ollowi ng the s ame procedu res as

described i nthe section for the c onnection to the cold water line.

Insert the dra in ho se i nto a dra in pi pe w ith a minimu m di ameter o f 4 cm , o r let it run into the sink , making sur e to

avoid bending or crimping. Use the special plastic support that comes with the appliance. The free end of the hose

must be a t a heig ht be tween 40 and 100 cm and must not be imme rsed in w ater.

Improper connection of the equipment earthing conductor can result in the risk of an electric shock.
